MODEL PROGRAM: Jenny

So today, my adorable cousin allowed me to photograph her. She enjoyed (and by that I mean LOVED) jumping on crunchy leaves. She was such an amazing model especially since she hadn't had a meal and was due for a nap. I love you Jenny!!

BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK: We had to resort to the binkie when we had her change outfits. I learned to love binkies. It usually calms kids down and makes them happy if even for a few seconds (which gives me enough time to get the right picture).

She was such a good model.
Jenny is one of  the first members of my Tiny Models Program. I'll have more info on that program coming up! Super excited to share with you!
Sneak peek on the program:
*1 year contract
*You'll get lots of goodies!
*Your kid will be featured on my website, as well as blog and facebook.
*Ultimate bragging rights!

To buy the headbands featured here, please contact me directly. I do custom orders! :)

Lake Serene

Yesterday I hiked through one of the most rough terrains that I have ever hiked through.  Along with my brothers, mom, and boyfriend, we made it through 6 hours of hiking to get to the top of Lake Serene and back. We made it through rocks, stairs, bridges, and very uneven terrain. By the time we made it out of there, it was pitch black! We only had a tiny flashlight for all five of us to see! It was such an adventure! Even though it was super foggy, I got to see so many cool things (including a lake at the top of the climb)! Here are some pictures from our hike! As you can see, we had some new friends come over for lunch when we got to the top of our hike! ENJOY!

What's the most difficult hike that you made? Was it worth it? Share with me. I want to know.

LEARNING: Collages.net Webinars

I just recently found out about collages.net from a facebook ad. I was intrigued by the products but not overly captivated. I thought, "oh, this is just another company where you can order photo products." Man, I have been sweetly surprised! I took a look through their blog and found out about some webinars that they were hosting. I decided to sign up for it, not really sure what to expect from a free webinar on photography. Days and weeks went by and I completely forgot about it. (Luckily they sent me a reminder about it!)

So this morning, with my body still aching from yesterday's long and super hard hike (more on that later), I woke up super early to get ready for this webinar that starts at 8:00 (keep in mind that I'm in the Pacific Time Zone so if you're in the EST yours will be conducted at a much later time). Got my notebook and paper ready, preparing to take notes in case something interesting happened. This was "Infant Portraits 101" after all!

Our host, Pete Wright, from PW Photography, was full of information. My pen didn't leave my notebook for a second. I was scribbling as fast as I could, trying to capture everything that he had to say about baby and infant photography. He knows a great deal about running a business as well.

I am SOO glad that I stumbled upon this. I went back into the blog and signed up for three more webinars (two of the are happening tomorrow!).

So for any photographers out there, please check this out. It's a great learning tool and it's free!! The first webinar that I attended was a little bit over 1 hour long and the one that I just attended a few minutes ago lasted less than thirty minutes. This last one was about new products that collages.net has and the benefits that they offer to your costumers. Super informative as well!

Added bonus: you get discount codes to collages.net if you attend. :)

Good day everyone!

WEDDINGS: E&I

First of all, I just need to mention that  I've realized that I haven't been too good about keeping up with writing a blog. SORRY! It must be from the lack of habit of keeping a personal diary!! I remember that I used to love doing that. (Maybe I should start again!)
I'll be better, I promise. I take way too many pictures for them not to appear here.

So... speaking of portraits...I wanted to share a few from the E&I Wedding! It was this gorgeous wedding, set against a GORGEOUS backdrop. Everybody was so happy (even the bunnies were out that day!!). \
This was really a fairy-tale wedding. :)

So much love! :)

Hope that you enjoyed this wedding as much as I did!
