PAWS!

So today was another great day at PAWS! When I got there, there was another volunteer who works with the web team. I love meeting other volunteers, especially since I still consider myself fairly new to this. I'm sure that I asked her EVERY question that came to mind. And she was so nice and helpful! I hope that I get to see her again. We made a really good team together!
Here are some pics of the cats that I got to meet today!! Click on their names to learn a little bit more about them and the adoption process!
And thanks for  stopping by! Let me know which cat you would choose as your own if you could adopt one!!

Just Moved In! (A little bit about your adorable photographer)

So this is going to be our new house! So excited! New space, BIGGER space, where I can actually post pictures and text at the same time. :)
I hope that y'all can handle it though. I tend to write A LOT! I was just doing those mini posts because I couldn't write any more. LOL.
So, for those of you who have never met me before or read my blogs.... My name is Diana and I'm the owner of Diana's Photografia. I'm a bilingual photographer (English and Spanish) who loves the outdoors. I love to explore the city as well as nature. My photo shoots are made outdoors in some great locations, but I can also go to your house!
I specialize in portraiture photography. My favorite subjects are children and seniors! Although I do enjoy every single photo session!! I love to capture those special moments between families and those special moments that come in life.
On my days off, I volunteer at PAWS, an animal shelter located in Lynnwood, WA. I work on the web team taking pictures of cats and dogs (mostly cats so far!). I get to play with them and learn what their personalities are like so that I can write out a description about them on Petfinder, hoping to find the right family for them. This, by far, has been one of the greatest experiences this year. I ABSOLUTELY enjoy going there every week!
I'm also feeling as if I'm finally starting to enter the "Seattle World of Photography." LOL. I moved here almost 3 years ago but I have just recently started meeting other photographers through various workshops/ meetups that I have been involved lately. Seattle is such a beautiful city and it's full of artists. I like to surround myself with knowledgeable people and experiences. I'm part of the Seattle Smug Photographer Group as well as various others throughout the state. These groups have gotten me interested in doing some fashion photography as well. There's just so many possibilities!
So if you still want to learn a little bit more about me, here's directly from my Facebook page:
